I grew up in the tropics and now live on an arid Arizona Indian reservation. My three children are nicknamed Papaya (a boy, born May 2003), Banana (a girl, Sept 2005, pronounced "Banahna"), and Portabella (a girl, born May 2008). My husband (aka Papaya Daddy) is a family practice doc with the Indian Health Service. I love our desert landscape and life here and try to walk with open hands - living this adventure to the fullest, ready to receive and enter with joy whatever (or wherever) God leads us next.
