I grew up in Bangladesh, Kenya, and a sprinkling of states, and am currently growing my roots down into Western Washington soil. My husband is a physician for a local Native American tribe, and we have three quirky kids.
I love the ocean, being surprised by beauty, and ice cream. I have a heart for the most vulnerable, both here and around the world. I love to listen to and learn from the stories of others, and I long for my own stories to connect with and encourage readers.
I got a degree in Christian Education like my mom, then a degree in Public Health like my dad. After 14 years of full-time parenting, I'm realizing that the world is so much larger than I thought. I'm beginning to listen to Jesus and walk with him on our own path, one that reflects who I am and who I am becoming. It is a delight with terror in it!
